I just returned from Paris where I got to see an incredible new installation collaboration by Anselm Kiefer and composer Pascal Dusapin. The first art commissioned for the Pantheon in 100 years by President Macron in honor of renouned author Maurice Genevoix, who wrote about his experiences in the trenches of WWI.

Kiefer has installed several large glass and steel vitrines with barbed wire, burnt books, corn risiing from concrete rubble, bicycles and guns used by French battations, and other objects referencing the war.

Dusapin adds another dimension to the experice with his sounds of voices singing songs and names of French victims of war.
